May 2006 — Ambassador Alfred Bijlsma and journalist Pieter Waterdrinker visit the Rhino Loghouses factory in Russia
In May 2006, the former Dutch Ambassador to Russia, Alfred Bijlsma, visited the Rhino Loghouses factory. Also present was Pieter Waterdinker, a well-known Dutch journalist and Russia expert who wrote about the factory for De Telegraaf.
The ambassador was so impressed that he ordered a chalet for his own home in France. It was a moment that confirmed what Ragnar had believed from the start: quality speaks for itself, across borders and cultures.
